Lil’ Kim Talks Dancing With The Stars

After some commotion and controversy surrounding the Notorious film [click to read], Lil’ Kim has been laying low, away from the spotlight. Now, Kim is prepping for her debut on “Dancing with the Stars,” a television program where celebrities participate in a ballroom dancing competition. Recently, one of the few Hip Hop personalities to appear on the show, spoke on why she decided to do the program and more on her debut.

“Me and my girls used to watch it and they would say, ‘You need to be on that show,’” she recently said to The Insider.

She also added that the show was a hit in prison.

“In prison you have to agree on what to watch, “[and Dancing] was the number one show. We watched it faithfully and we were so into it.”

What about those infamous outfits ballroom dancers wear?

“Those are natural Lil’ Kim outfits,” she said.

Her partner will be Derek Hough, a professional dancer.

“I prayed and was hoping to have Derek as my partner...When those doors opened and I saw him, I was like ‘Yes!’”
